GURD has been confirmed for this years METAL DAYZ FESTIVAL taking place 4th until 6th of august in Pratteln/Switzerland. The billing so far contains bands like ANNIHILATOR, BLAZE, IN EXTREMO, NANOWAR,

The recordings for the new record called BANG! are done and now there is time to think about the cover artwork... And we are asking YOU to be the artist! Suitable to the album title, we need a headbanger on the cover. Send us your most aggressive and best picture of you in headbanging action! The best picture will be used for the cover and the winner gets a free copy and a shirt. We are looking forward to receiving a lot of good pictures from you! Also check the "on tour"-section for upcoming shows, because you definitely find a place to bang that head there... and don't forget that digicam!!!

We are currently busy in our own Little Creek studio working on our new album. The recordings are almost done and mainman V.O. will start mixing within the next days. The new effort will be released later this year. The title describes what we are aiming for with our eigth album, it will be called 'BANG!' plain & simple...
